Sip Panel

We specialize in the Structured Insulated Panel (SIP) building system, which has been in use worldwide for 40 years (80% of all family homes in Canada and 65% in the United States are built using this unique technology).

SIP panel houses are energy efficient and require minimal operating and maintenance costs.

Composition of SIP panels

What are SIP panels?

The core of the panel must be strong enough, so the panel does not need any additional stiffening elements. Therefore, the SIP panel is also referred to as a sandwich insulated panel without reinforced ribs. By gluing the OSB boards (packaging) with an insulating polystyrene core over the entire surface, a very rigid element is created, which acts as a box girder. Houses built of these panels are very durable and strong. In 2004, based on tests performed, the US was allowed to use SIP construction technology in all seismically endangered areas. According to the association of SIP producers in the USA, this technology was recommended by the government for the reconstruction of hurricane-affected areas. The panels can be made of different materials.

Casing

Today, the most commonly used boards are oriented large-area OSB chips. These boards have excellent mechanical properties at low weight, are very easy to process both in the production of panels and on the construction site, and are affordable.

CORE

Made of EPS, ie polystyrene. It is also possible to use XPS, extruded polystyrene or polyurethane. Execution of constructions by SIP system As these are flat building components that are manufactured industrially with great precision, the constructions themselves are very precise. Perimeter walls and internal load-bearing partitions are made of panels. The universal applicability of the panels simplifies building design and construction logistics. SIP is a "dry construction" technology and does not require any special site and assembly equipment. SIP panels can be manufactured as large-area elements with prepared openings for windows and doors.

Advantages of SIP panels

RESISTANCE TO HUMIDITY

The resistance of SIP sandwich panels to moisture depends on the brand of the OSB board and, of course, on the conscientiousness of the manufacturer of these boards. We use EGGER type 3 (moisture resistant) OSB boards for the production of sandwich panels. The EGGER plate manufacturer is certified in Ukraine and carefully monitors the quality of their production. Our company also controls the quality of materials, which allows us to offer developers the maximum guarantee of trust in our products.

FIRE RESISTANCE

OSB-3 boards have flame retardant impurities that significantly prevent ignition, together with plasterboard (thickness> 9 mm) provides reliable protection of intrapanel polystyrene foam for 45 minutes of continuous contact with open flame. We produce sandwich panels with increased fire resistance (class SE according to the international classification). For this, we use expanded polystyrene with the addition of higher flame retardants, which significantly slows down ignition and burning.

RODENT PROTECTION

Experience has shown that in houses with sandwich panels, mice are not caught for several reasons: sandwich panel materials, namely OSB board and foam, are not food for rodents and do not use them to build nests. The outer solid OSB boards protect the polyfoam from open contact with rodents and the high degree of thermal insulation of the sandwich panels does not attract the attention of rodents by heat. The quality installation of SIP panels provides complete insulation and the absence of cracks in the house, which creates excellent protection against rodents and does not attract them by heat or odor.

STRENGTH

The high strength of SIP sandwich panels is the ability to withstand weight and seismic loading. The use of a denser polystyrene foam (polyfoam) and a high adhesion adhesive provided an even greater increase in the strength of the SIP panels. The use of only certified materials has enabled our company to significantly stabilize and improve the performance of SIP sandwich panels. The SIP sandwich panel does not lose its durability for 80 years or more if you observe the operating conditions. Adherence to technology and multi-level quality control in all production phases have enabled us to guarantee a high level of quality of products manufactured by SIP.

DURABILITY

The durability of SIP sandwich panels largely depends on the quality of the insulation layer (expanded polystyrene), OSB, installation on Canadian technology. Expanded polystyrene is a reliable and time-tested material. Unlike polyurethane foam or mineral wool, expanded polystyrene does not sag over time and retains its shape for decades and provided that the integrity of OSP protection boards is maintained - for more than 100 years. The durability of sandwich panels significantly depends on the density of the foam. Low density expanded polystyrene sandwich panels are often used for homes and temporary buildings. At low densities, the grain of expanded polystyrene can shrink significantly after 20 years, which will lead to the formation of cavities and a gradual reduction in the thermal insulation properties of sandwich panels.

SIP blocks

MULTIPURPOSE AND EASY BUILDING MATERIAL

Our company distributes a unique product - SIP BLOK, which has no analogues. It allows the end user to build any building without the use of additional technical means. It is innovation that makes the product accessible and universal for consumers. The high strength of SIPPU blocks is the ability to withstand weight and seismic loading. The load-bearing capacity of sandwich blocks will not be lost for 80 years or more. SIP-BLOK is a multilayer building material made of OSB boards and an insulating layer inside. The outer layers of the SIP block are made of moisture-resistant OSB, which gives it the required rigidity. Allows you to build houses with several floors.
